Our Neighborhood

Our neighborhood is Spottiswoode Park. To go to a website about Spottiswoode Park click here.
The Sri Muneswaran Temple we see every day. Sometimes we see Hindus having a service there. We can also hear them, because the drums there are loud! This is the side entrace to the railway canteen. It is were we usually eat dinner.

Are you close to the train tracks too, William? Do you hear them passing by often?
The shortcut through the jungle looks like an interesting place to explore. I think Grandma S. will want to do that with you when they come, if it's as pretty as the picture. :)
Have you tried the one-of-a-kind badminton court yet?
What is your apartment like?
What's your favorite thing about Singapore so far? How about least favorite?
Do you like "home"schooling so far?
We'll be praying that God will help you be a light to your Hindu neighbors while you are there.
Love,
Aunt Amy

yes I'm close to the train tracks. I'm close to the Malaysian Railway and some track for freight. Both end near here. I sometimes hear the malaysian train in the morning. The shortcut through the jungle isn't really through the jungle. It's a covered walkway on concrete. What badminton court?????

According to the website link you gave for Spottiswoode Park, "the Blk 108 carpark also has a one-of-a-kind badminton court open to the public." Better check it out. Maybe it's not there anymore, along with the the shortcut through the jungle. :) Did you walk on the covered walkway? See any interesting critters? What's the temperature like in Singapore this time of year?
Thanks for writing back.
